Due to a change in the Rapid City School District's policy requiring students to remain on campus during the lunch period, remodeling of the Stevens High School and Central High School Cafeterias became a necessity.
Key elements included: Creation of a more "commercial" food service environment; expanded kitchen; and expansion of the school's commons area, providing an open and aesthetically pleasing dining/gathering area.
