This project consisted of several facets, including several thousand feet of 8-inch water mains, a new Madison well and pump house, a 48,000-gallon bolted steel reservoir and the telemetry equipment to remotely control the system from the Black Hawk Water User District's office.  The new water mains were constructed to provide a loop around the Timberline Subdivision and to connect the existing distribution system to the new well and reservoir.

The Madison well is presently producing about 700 gallons of water per minute. The pump house contains the electrical equipment, the telemetry system, piping, valves, metering equipment and the chlorination and fluoridation systems.
