FourFront Design, Inc., in cooperation with HDR, master planned, designed and performed construction administration for the complete restoration of Canyon Lake.

Canyon Lake is a 27 acre reservoir that serves as the focal point for the Rapid City Area Parks system. The lake was drained to allow new shoreline, recreation facilities, a water fowl observation island and jetty improvements to be accomplished. A careful fish restoration plan was adhered to ensure the native trout population was maintained and improved.
