Sun Valley Estates is located east of Interstate 90, just south of Elk Creek Road in western South Dakota. FourFront Design, Inc. was requested to perform the civil design of the new subdivision.
Hydrologic and hydraulic calculations for a drainage analysis was conducted for the subdivision and two detention ponds. A final design was also completed for the new subdivision.
This drainage design was developed to meet the 10-year and 100-year modified historical flows.
