GIS software is used by FourFront Design to determine drainage basin and sub-basin boundaries, based on available elevation and hydrologic data. GIS is used to generate input data and geometric parameter calculations for drainage models such as HEC-RAS/HEC-HMS and StormCAD and supports hydrologic and floodplain studies completed in the FourFront engineering department.
