In conjunction with a GIS needs assessment and implementation plan for the city of Summerset, SD, FourFront Design produced a series of wall-sized and 8.5x11 city maps. Available federal, state and county data was compiled into a data set delivered to the City, and existing City data in CAD format was converted to GIS and attributed. The maps were delivered in both paper and PDF format. The smaller maps were designed for distribution to the public, either as PDFs on the city web page or in printed format. The series of maps included: City street map with aerial photo, City street map with USGS topographic map, planning boundaries, existing land use, future land use, existing zoning, proposed zoning, major street planning, and public works planning.
